Not in the plot. In the words themselves, in the rooms behind rooms, the older meanings still quietly whispering under the ones you were taught. You've been reading right past them... Like most people. But you've been called to take part in the watching.

The Lexicon is a small game you play inside whatever book you're already reading. It asks you to look the way you were told not to, to follow a word down past its surface, to keep what you find, and to see the deeper patterns unfold before you. 

There aren't any dice to carry, no second player, no rules to memorize. Just you, your book, and something to write with.
