Blood Rites

The trobairitz Tibors de Sarenom was presumed dead... Except she was still advising people more than a decade later.

It all began with a woman who would not accept death, the others she found along the way, and the long unbroken line they created of women who made a choice, when the world closed its narrow window on them, to step outside the burning house. 

Remembering is the essence of the rite of Las Rosas Sagnetas, the immortal coterie. They remember the women history has decided to keep, and the far greater number it has not. They carry an eternal wisdom into each century, looking for others to fan its flames. 

Blood Rites is a solo journaling game. It doesn't need a book, although it's highly encouraged to explore each century through relevant texts, to listen and make note of the stories of the past. You will receive the role fate has given you, but after your initiation, you are free to choose new names and adapt new personalities according to each era in which you find a deeper layer of yourself unfolding.  You may bear witness to what it has cost and what it means to hold onto power that was never freely given.

Print it. Fold it. Keep it where you keep the things you carry with you wherever you may go.
